about us
we’re glad you’re here
Fringe & Friends Salon in Portland opened in the Spring of 2017 when Rosie, a senior stylist at Fringe & Friends Salon NYC, decided to move across the country and open her own salon. It took lots of labors of love, literally, to bring Fringe PDX to life. On the day she signed the lease, she found out she was expecting her first daughter Siggy. Since then, Siggy and Fringe have both come into the world and the Fringe family could not be more excited.

Jamie Roy
Jamie first fell in love with hair in 9th grade when her family moved in to a home with a hairdresser’s sink in the garage. After coloring and cutting her friend’s hair throughout high school she knew she had found a passion. She went on to graduate from the Paul Mitchell School.
From there she moved across the country to sharpen her skills in NYC. It was there she learned the art of balayage and how to combine cut and color to create balance. Jamie loves to create a range of styles from beachy & natural to edgy geometric shapes & bold color. After almost 8 years in NYC she is thrilled to be in the Pacific Northwest.
